Paying in crypto is simple once you know three things: the coin, the network and the exact amount. Most mistakes come from getting one of those wrong. This article takes you through the steps for CatchOn TV and shows how to avoid the usual errors.

Choose the coin and the network

Bitcoin, Ether, BNB and USDT are accepted. USDT can be sent on TRC20, BEP20 or ERC20, and the network must match the one you chose on the payment page. If you pay in BNB, send it on BNB Smart Chain.

Send the exact amount

The payment page shows the amount in your chosen coin, converted from the dollar price at the rate shown. Send that amount. An underpayment is not confirmed automatically, and a large overpayment is reviewed by a person.

Allow for network fees

Each transfer carries a network fee, paid from your wallet on top of the amount shown. Keep a small margin of the coin in your wallet so the fee can be paid. Fees vary with the network and how busy it is.

Confirmation times

Seconds on BNB Smart Chain and TRON, a few minutes on Ethereum and around ten minutes on Bitcoin. The payment page shows the progress, and your line is activated once the payment is confirmed and checked.

Paste the transaction ID

Once you have sent the payment, copy its transaction ID from your wallet or exchange and paste it onto the payment page. The page cannot follow the payment without it.

If something goes wrong

If you sent the wrong amount or the wrong network, do not send again. Open a ticket with the transaction ID and your order number. Crypto transfers cannot be reversed, so acting quickly gives us the best chance to check.

Keep your wallet safe

Never share your recovery phrase or private key with anyone, including someone who says they are from support. We will never ask for them.

The short version

Pick the coin and the matching network, send the exact amount with a fee margin, paste the transaction ID and wait for confirmation. Our payments page explains each coin in more detail.
