The programme guide tells you what is on each channel now and what follows. It is the feature that turns a long channel list into a television schedule you can use, and it works in the CatchOn TV app and in TiviMate.
What the guide shows
For each channel the guide lists the current programme with a progress bar, the next few programmes and a short description. Select a programme for more detail, or open the grid to see several channels at once.
Setting the time zone
Most listing problems are time-zone problems. If a programme appears an hour early or late, open the guide settings and set the time zone or offset for your location. Check it against a channel you know well, such as a national news bulletin.
When a channel says “No information”
Listings are not available for every channel, and some are published late. Refresh the guide data from the settings. If a channel still shows no listings after a day, it probably has none to share, and the channel still plays normally.
Getting more from the guide
Favourite the channels you watch most, so they sit at the top of the grid. The TV guide tips article explains the settings that matter most in each app.
Questions about the guide
Why does the guide show different times from my TV’s clock?
The guide follows the broadcaster’s time and the time zone you have set. If the times look wrong, correct the time zone rather than the clock.
Can I search the guide?
Yes. Use the search in the app to find a programme by name, then choose the channel it is on.
Is the guide included?
Yes, with every plan. The listings depend on the channels, so a few may be missing.
