The CatchOn TV app cannot be installed on an iPhone or iPad, so the set-up uses a compatible player from the App Store. This guide covers the steps, and the iPhone and iPad device page explains why the app is not available.
Find a compatible player
Search the App Store for an IPTV player that accepts an Xtream-style login: server address, username and password. Check its description and its support notes before you install. Availability depends on your country and Apple’s rules, so we cannot promise a particular player is listed.
Enter your details
Open the player, choose the option to add a login or service, and enter the server, username and password from your activation email or from My subscription.
Set the guide
Find the guide settings and set the time zone. Check the times against a channel you know, and refresh the guide if listings are missing.
Showing it on the TV
Connect the iPhone or iPad to a television with a cable or cast the screen, or use an Android TV or Google TV box for the living room. The box runs the CatchOn TV app and TiviMate Premium.
If the player you chose will not connect, contact support and name the player, so we can tell you what we know.
Questions about iPhone set-up
Can I sign in with the same details on my phone and my TV?
Yes, within your plan’s screen allowance.
Why is there no iPhone version of the app?
The CatchOn TV app is an Android APK, and iOS does not run those files.
Does the guide look the same on iPhone?
It depends on the player. The listings come from the same source, but the layout differs.
